Free Clothing Giveaway
MACS is working in partnership with the Marshall Seventh Day Adventist Church to help those in need of clothing. There is a free clothing giveaway the first and third Tuesday of the month from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the church located at 1115 Verona Road, Marshall, Michigan.
A HUGH thank you to Dark Horse Brewing Co. for supporting MACS with their annual Spring Smoke-Off. We greatly appreciate the time and effort put into this event to help us provide for those in need in our community. With these funds we are able to help with emergency needs, such as a utility shut-off notice, warm coats for the winter, gasoline, lodging, some clothing, school backpacks and Christmas gift and food baskets.

Letter Carriers' Stamp Out Hunger
Food Drive is on
Saturday, May 11, 2019.
The Marshall Post Office is participating in this food drive. The letter carriers will be leaving a reminder postcard and bags, for donated items, to be placed by your mailbox on Saturday, May 11th. All food collected will be delivered to MACS for distribution to families who need our help in the Marshall area. The shelves of our pantry are getting low and in desperate need of restocking. MACS greatly appreciates all post office employees for their help with this food drive.

Will my food get picked up if the weather's bad?
Yes. Your letter carrier will pick up and deliver your mail as usual on Food Drive Day and collect the food bags no matter what the weather may be.
When do I put out the food?
Set out your non-perishable food well before your letter carrier's normal pick-up time.
I'm going to be out of town on May 11. Can I still donate?
Yes. You can bring your food into the Marshall Post Office before May 11th or on Monday May 13th and leave your donation. They will deliver it to MACS.
Are my donations tax-deductible?
Yes. MACS is a 501(c)3 tax-deductible non-profit charity.
What can I donate?
Please consider donating non-perishable food. Click HERE to see a list of our most requested non-perishable food items. Please do not donate frozen food, homemade food or home-canned items.
Is there anything I shouldn't donate?
Please do not donate items that have expired or are in glass containers. In keeping with good food-handling and food-safety procedures, food that is opened, damaged, or out of date or does not have the official ingredients included will be discarded in the sorting process.
